When your bae acts like an angry bird or you have to care her like a child. Oops! It happened a man’s POV. What if you’re a nice lady in pressed office-suit reading this, don’t worry, we’ll try to cover most of the mishaps and maladies, pains and tragedies with piece of info and remedies.
Menstruation is a biological process occurring at the regular interval of 28 days(+/- 7 days). Every woman goes through menstruation from their puberty till their forties. Monthly, women not only go through bleeding but it brings problems like menstrual cramp, excessive bleeding, irregular bleeding among others. It’s like if your menstruation cycle occurs at normal interval and you don’t get any menstrual cramp then you must be very very lucky.
To get to know more about these menstruation problems, we did online survey among 55 ladies in July. Most of them were of age 21-35.
According to the survey, most of them have problems during their period. Of them, menstrual cramp and body ache are the leading ones, followed by irregular bleeding and heavy bleeding.
Not many of us know but besides the cramp and pain during the menses women might also have a mid cycle pain which is also known as Mittelschmerz syndrome. It occurs due to ovulation which usually happens at around 14th day of their period. It may produce similar cramp as those occurring during their menstruation.
Other problems that individual faces during their menstruation include prolonged bleeding and nausea/vomiting. In substantial population, problems related to menstruation are affecting daily life of women.
To relieve the cramp and to put ourselves in ease, we prefer taking painkiller and yes hot water bag becomes our savior. Our survey says the same thing. Many of us prefer hot water bag followed by pain medication and others opt for herbal medication. Mefenamic acid (Meftal), Ibuprofen (Brufen), Paracetamol are all the NSAIDs that these ladies take to relieve the pain.
NSAIDs may be useful to relieve the pain but it might cause some side effects. To prevent severe gastritis ,one must take these NSAIDs right after the last gallop of their meal or take medicine such as pantoprazole (under the group of proton pump inhibitor) before food to reduce the side effect of NSAIDs.
Well, this much is not what you’ve asked in the survey to know about.
